Core Forme’s approach

Claire’s story

Hi, I’m Claire. Co-founder of Core Forme and an LPF Level 3 Trainer. I started Core Forme to help women that are navigating their journey through life to ensure they have the tools to thrive, not just survive.


My vision is to help women reconnect with their bodies and build strength for every stage of life. Through breath, movement and mindful nourishment, Core Forme is here to empower women to feel balanced, confident and strong, from the inside out. 


I began on my own journey to rebuild core strength and connection following the birth of my second son. I was a working parent, living in the USA and feeling the pressure to ‘bounce-back‘ both to my career, pre-baby body, and old ways of staying fit (which meant squats, peloton and CrossFit) when I was diagnosed with two stage 3 Pelvic Organ Prolaspses (POPs). 


Determined not to have surgery, I threw myself into research to understand the ways I could improve my symptoms without intrusive intervention unless absolutely necessary. It was in 2019 that I first discovered Low Pressure Fitness by working with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist in New Jersey. 


The reduction in pain and improvement in my symptoms was incredible. After regularly training over six months, I managed to improve both POPs from a stage 3 to a stage 1. I was so pleased - my symptoms were almost gone and I found a way to live without compromise or surgery. I learnt first-hand the importance of balance, nourishment and supporting my body and mind with what it needed for the stages of life I was in. 


I couldn’t understand why all women didn’t know about this training method and it was then that I decided I wanted to train as an LPF instructor to educate and help women through their own journeys, be that pregnancy, post-partum or menopause. 


We are taught to chase strength. To push harder, go faster, hold everything together. I believe and know from my own experience that true strength begins quietly - with breath, connection and understanding.
